The US Blockade on Cuba is a Violation of Democracy

The only criteria to be invited to Biden’s so-called Summit for Democracy last week was to be a lapdog of US imperialism, not to be a real democracy. Instead of uplifting true people’s democracies which have dynamic, mass participation — such as those in Cuba and China — Biden’s summit promoted the overthrow of these governments.

End of the US blockade against Cuba demanded in Australia
Canberra, 1st April, 2023. On Saturday, 1st April, an activity of solidarity with Cuba was held in the Australian capital as part of the efforts of the Australia-Cuba Friendship Association (ACFS) to continue supporting the Cuban people in the midst of the escalation of the economic, commercial and financial blockade against the island by the government of the United States.

Cuban president praises world support against U.S. blockade

Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel today praised the world's support against the U.S. economic blockade against his country and described the vote held at the United Nations on the issue as a resounding victory.

Cuba denounces that the human damage of the blockade is incalculable.  The world rejects at the UN US blockade against Cuba, the president said on Twitter.
