End of the US blockade against Cuba demanded in Australia
Canberra, 1st April, 2023. On Saturday, 1st April, an activity of solidarity with Cuba was held in the Australian capital as part of the efforts of the Australia-Cuba Friendship Association (ACFS) to continue supporting the Cuban people in the midst of the escalation of the economic, commercial and financial blockade against the island by the government of the United States.

The Assembly,

1. EXPRESSES serious concern about the continuous and illegal economic, commercial and financial blockade imposed on the Cuban government and people;

London, February 7. Over a thousand Brits signed an open letter to US President Joe Biden asking him to lift the blockade imposed by the United States on Cuba back on February 3rd, 1962, on the framework of the British campaign of solidarity with Cuba on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the entry into force of the policy.

The open letter was published on the website of the Campaign for Solidarity with Cuba (CSC) in the United Kingdom (cuba-solidarity.org.uk.

Pretoria, February 4, 2022- The Ambassador of Cuba in South Africa, Enrique Orta González, granted an interview to the main South African television network, South African Broadcasting Corporation (SABC) for the evening news program "Full View" for its broadcast next Wednesday February 9.
