Kingston, Jamaica, February 27, 2022. Directors and members of the "Antonio Maceo" Association of Cuban Residents in Jamaica and other members of the Cuban community joined a caravan of cars this Sunday morning in support of Cuba and against the inhuman economic, commercial and financial blockade maintained by the US government on the Greater Antilles.
The caravan, coordinated by the Jamaica-Cuba Friendship Association, also had the participation of Jamaican friends from various solidarity organizations. The group left Emancipation Park and toured several of Kingston's main arteries, waving Cuban flags and displaying signs demanding an end to the blockade.
This caravan joins the efforts of the solidarity movement with Cuba around the world and organizations of patriotic Cubans such as “Puentes de Amor”, to publicize the disastrous effects of the blockade against the Cuban people, and demand the elimination of this coercive policy, unfair and one-sided.
